Our dream is to build a residential building for and by neighborhood residents. Therefor we started the housing Coöperative ‘House of Hope’ with a group of existing H-Buurt residents and community builders.
CLT’s and other cooperative developments around the world show the potential to do good for a neighborhood and its residents: strengthening and empowering community and their networks, train neighborhood developers, and democratise housing.
At the moment we are participating in a tender proces for an apartment building of 90 dwellings in H-Buurt. Our strong believe is that we as a society should move from competition to cooperation and that a neighborhood strengthens when given the opportunity to organise an open and democratic proces for a cooperative housing block.
