After our call for board members interim board members volunteered until the general members meeting actually elect them. An interim board of the CLT H- Buurt came together. For full transparency purposes see below the minutes, presentation and recording of the meeting.
Notes meeting
Before the meeting the interim board of the CLT H-buurt received the presentation to read through and ask questions during the meeting on Thursday 23 of april 2020.
During the meeting the experts shared the results of CLT H-buurt up to April 2020 (slide 4) CLT H-buurt has been able to put op effective community meetings in the H-buurt and has been able to collaborate with different stakeholders. (slide 4)
Community Lands Trust is a community led development of permanently affordable housing and community infrastructure on community owned land.
The governance of CLT consists of:
CLT H-buurt: Creates economic and social value to the H-buurt and empowers the residents in neighbourhood development.
CLT Bijlmer: Provides knowledge, advice and secures the general interest.
Separate legal entity: Will be set up (housing cooperative/ CPO) when developing real estate (dwellings and community infrastructure)
CLT H-buurt the aim:
The aim of the H-buurt association is to enable the access to affordable housing and community infrastructure for the generations to come and to catalyze community transformation.
This will lead to bringing different cultures and religions together to participate and emancipate thus enhancing social and economic development of the community.
Questions/suggestions:
Why is it not just one name? for instance CLT Bijlmer- H buurt? During the meeting one of the interim boardmembers commented and said ‘‘Identification of the project can have an effect on the success of the project’’ On what experts said the name of the association can always be changed.
